My name is Gene. I've been doing biological searches for families who have adopted their kids in Ukraine since 2005. My main focus of the searches has been learning the details of the adoption documents and then traveling to the region of origin to look for the biological relatives with the goal of meeting them in person. However, the recent war conflict in Ukraine has made it unsafe and sometimes impossible to travel much right now, but I still have the ability to try to find the birth family members by other ways, such as via internet social media, cell-phone calls, etc.. Due to my vast experience with these searches, I have established several methods and connections to help find people in almost all the regions of the Ukraine.
These days because of the war conflict, some adoptive families want to know how the biological family members (which I or another searchers have found before the war) are living now, if they had to relocate, or even if they are still alive. Sometimes they just want to say “hello” to them and let them know that they care about their situation. So, in such cases I am ready to help to refresh the connection, to clarify about the new place of residence , and to organize and assist while video calling with them.
Hopefully the situation will change for the better soon, I really hope some day this war will be finished and I will be able to travel across my country as I did before. In the past, after I found the bio-families, many clients have used my travel service and we have visited the birth families here in Ukraine. I am happy to help you not only with the search, but with taking you to visit the bio-families in the future when it is safe again to do so.
